Charles Klein attended Cornell University, where he received his B.A. He continued his education at Rice University, which created its Master of Architecture program around his candidacy, and finished his studies at Columbia University receiving an M.A. in 1975. Mr. Klein has worked at several major architectural and interior design offices before starting his own firm, Charles H. Klein, Inc. in 1981. Mr. Klein's architectural training combined with his apprenticeships with top New York interior designers allows him to create fully integrated design schemes. By specializing in the subtle manipulation of color and light, combined with complex spatial planning Mr. Klein's designs are both harmonious and comfortable to live in.
Mr. Klein was trained as a modernist but has acquired, through experience and additional training, a vast knowledge of classical detailing. Charles Klein and his team of designers are comfortable working with a variety of genres and pride themselves on creating work truly customized to their clients' needs. |
